The Enrollment page
If your plan includes online enrollment, you'll see an Enrollment button on your dashboard.
It replaces the paper packet. Click Enrollment. This page lists every family who applied on your website, or that you added yourself. The groups follow the family's journey: new, paperwork sent, waiting for your review, enrolled, and closed.
Invite a family & copy the paperwork link
To add a family yourself, click Invite a family. Type the parent's name, email and phone, the child's first name, and the program.
Then choose their language — the forms open in English or Spanish. Click Add family and create paperwork link. BrightBadge makes their personal link — and notice, nothing was emailed. You decide when it goes out. Click Copy link, and send it to the family however you normally talk to them — by text or by email. The family moves to Paperwork sent. If they lose the link, click Resend link.
What the family sees: fill in & sign
Now, here's what the family sees. The link opens right in their phone's browser — in the language you picked.
No app to download, no password. They see how many forms are done, and where to start. They can read everything in English or Spanish with one tap. They click Start here, which opens the contract. What they fill in there — like the child's details — carries over to the other forms. Everything saves as they type. If they get interrupted, they can close it and come back later.
Their answers are still there. When a form is ready, they click Continue to sign, type their full name, agree to sign electronically, and sign. When the last form is signed, they see this: all done, your paperwork is in. Now it's your turn.
Review a signed packet
Back on your side. The family is now under Awaiting your review.
Click Review. Take a minute to look it over before you admit the child. At the top is what the family told you on their application. Below that is exactly what will go on your roster, from the signed contract — date of birth, guardian, and who's allowed to pick up. Then every form, with who signed it and when. If a form has to come in on paper — like one the doctor signs — click Mark received on paper when you have it.
Approve, send back or decline
Now you have three choices: approve and admit, send it back for corrections, or decline.
If something needs fixing, send it back. You tick just the forms they need to redo and add a short note, and they get a fresh link. Everything looks good here, so click Approve and admit, and confirm. The child is enrolled and on your check-in roster. You also get the parent's account invite link — copy it and send it, so they can create their BrightBadge account and get their pickup code. Click Go to the dashboard, then Manage Children — and there's Zoe, ready for her first day.
Up next
Next, we'll look at your attendance records, and how to print one child's month.
And remember: the language menu at the top switches BrightBadge to Spanish.
